Role of Paediatrician in Bullying Awareness

           Abstract
           Background Bullying is a universal problem that can be a serious threat for physical and emotional well-being
           of children and adolescent. Objective  To review some publication about bullying and health related effect
           of bullying among children and find the role of pediatrician. Methods  Searching some electronic data bases,
           all studies were screened, evaluated and extracted by 2 independent reviewers. Results Recently, bullying has
           become an issue since its significant impact on children and adolescent’s quality of life, and its long-term
           implication towards adaptation process when they become an adult. In Indonesia, bullying has entered the
           stage of concern because a lot of people believe that bullying is a normal tradition.
           Conclusion Pediatrician should understand the type and impact of bullying on physical and mental health,
           early detection, management, and prevention of bullying, as well as their role on bullying.
