The 18 National Congress of Pediatric (KONIKA XVIII) is the highest forum in
Indonesian Pediatric Society (IPS) event series, involving all the IPS Branches, IPS Board
Members, and the Indonesian College of Pediatrics (ICP), that provide opportunities for
the delegates to assembly and to exchange knowledge, new ideas, and experiences
in the field related to child health. With the theme “Anak Sehat, Anak Indonesia”
(Children’s Health is the Greatest Wealth), it bestows a forum for clinicians, scientists,
medical professionals, researchers, scholars, and also decision makers to present
and discuss their research works, innovation, experience or suggestions in all issues
related to child health. From a huge pile of papers that were sent to us, there are 668
selected articles after passing the peer-reviewed process. These articles cover various
topics in pediatric fields that are listed in the Table of Contents.
We would like to extend our best gratitude to Indonesian Pediatric Society and the
Organizing Committee for their trust and support, and to the members of reviewers
for their kind and dedicated assistance in reviewing the papers.
Finally, we hope this conference proceedings will not only give advantages to the
delegates, but also grant a positive contribution to the academic and medical field,
especially for improvement of child well-being.
