                                               Abstract
Background Pseudomembranous colitis is a manifestation of severe colonic disease that is usually associated
with Clostridium difficile infection. However, it can be caused by a number of different etiologies. Objective
To describe clinical and diagnosis of pseudomembranous colitis after infection of Covid-19 in a 16-year-old
girl. Case A 16-year-old girl complained abdominal pain since 1 month before admission, located in upper left
and spread in to lower abdomen. She had bloody and mucus in the stool and low grade fever since 1 month
before admission. She had suffered from undifferentiated Inflammtory Bowel Disease (IBD) since 2 years
ago. The previous endoscopy was performed 4 months before revealed unspecified chronic duodenitis. Three
months before admission, she was diagnosed with Covid-19 and hospitalized for 2 weeks. She got antivirus
with zinc and discharged in good condition. Physical examination were normal. Routine blood count, liver
function, and renal function test were normal. Colonoscopy showed pseudomembranous colitis. Clostridium
difficile glutamate dehydrogenase and toxin A/toxin B for clostridium difficile were negative. The patient
was given vancomycin for two weeks and complains were relieved. Patient discharged from home in good
condition. Conclusion Further studies needed to describe colonic involvement such as pseudomembranous
            colitis in paediatric Covid-19 patient.
